Routines & Menus
The children are always given the opportunity to have a morning snack and a nap (even if it’s in the buggy when we’re out and about).
For longer day trips, e.g., to Hounslow Urban Farm, museums, Kew Gardens, London Zoo, etc we aim to be back by 1pm, for afternoon nap time (or quiet time for older ones).
Sleep and Rest
Your child is given the opportunity to rest and sleep. Sleep patterns will be discussed and agreed with you. I recognise that children and parents have different requests for their child when being settled.
• For naps, you can provide a comfort item such as a soft toy or dummy
• Children sleep in a darkened room in our home either on a bed with rails, in a cot, or in the buggy (when we are out and about)
• I use a baby monitor and keep an eye on them while they sleep in my home
Food menus
The meals I provide the children come from supplier V&Me who deliver freshly prepared
meals each morning to my door. There are no preservatives and it’s never frozen -
Paediatric Dietitians plan every dish on the menu for optimal nutritional balance as well as exposure to new flavours and tastes.
Meals cater for the healthy dietary needs and food textures of children from 7 months to 3 years (nothing salty, sugary or fatty).
I cater to allergies and special diets, making sure I offer something appropriate for each child. Allergens are highlighted in my menu on Baby’s Days.
For special cases, e.g., if a child is a particularly fussy eater, I allow the parent to provide a healthy packed lunch.

I post my menu on Baby’s Days every other Monday and it is also posted on my notice.
• The children are always within hearing and/or sight when I am preparing meals -
• The food I provide is balanced and nutritious and complies with Food Standard Agency guidelines
• I offer 2 sugar free snacks during the day (whole milk if applicable)
• For longer outings, parents provide a packed lunch for their child or can opt for
a kid-
• Cleanliness is taken seriously. I have a Certificate in Food and Hygiene and I passed my most recent Food and Hygiene Inspection.
• I provide a wide variety of international foods in my menu, to encourage cultural diversity
• I adjust my weekly menus to cater to allergies, kosher, gluten free, vegan or vegetarian preferences
Please note, I’m unable to provide breakfast due to the school run of my children.
Please ensure your child has had their breakfast prior to drop off.
